Welcome to L. Simpson Editing. I’m Lara Simpson, a professional editor and proofreader with over ten years of experience. I provide editing services for fiction authors in Canadian, American, and UK English.

As an experienced editor, I meticulously correct and revise manuscripts. I serve as a freelance editor for Harpeth Road Press, Hachette UK (Bookouture), and Sunrise Publishing. I also collaborate with many self-published authors, striving to support their unique voices.

My journey began over ten years ago, editing academic articles, papers, and non-fiction educational material. In 2020, I decided to take the leap into my true passion: fiction editing. Since then, I’ve built an amazing online community and been blessed to work with many wonderful authors and publishers.
